Plot:

Jackie Chan: My Stunts is a 1999 documentary about Jackie Chan's stunts, fights and other related things and how he performs them. Throughout the film Jackie gives quick tutorials on how to execute various fight scenes under a budget.

I really enjoyed this film. This is a great documentary about the world of movie stunts. Jackie Chan takes you behind the scenes of two of his famous films, and shows you how he made the fights look as good as they do in the finished films.

As I ever wondered how he does all his stunts, this film is found out to be the best documentary to find out. Jackie Chan took us into the lots of his locations, and showed the innovative techniques he had used to create some of the best stunts in movie business. It also showed us how hard these people work to deliver the scene. I was shocked learning that in one sequence it took 348 takes to get one scene right. That's why now I am sure that all fantastic action scenes in Jackie Chan's movie, it's not an accident.

Of course I knew that all his stunts he did himself but I didn't supposed that he dared to take risk of his own life. My heart gave a leap when he jumped from one bus to another and then broke a glass sign-board. He was all in blood and even his bones were injured.

I think he is worth beeing respected for his work and for his selflessness and dedication to it. I also like how he treated his stunt team: for him it is his family in which everybody cares about each other and entirely trusts
in every member of the team.

The title of the article is “Star Trek goes into the darkness”. The article was published on the site euronews on 3 May, 2013. The article is about new Star Trek sparkling 3D sequel directed by JJ Abrams.

According to the reporter, the film’s world premiere in London was a suitable setting as the action in the film begins there with a terrorist attack against the Star Fleet, led by the enigmatic one-man killing machine John Harrison, who was played by Sherlock Holmes star, Benedict Cumberbatch.

According to the text early review of the film gained a lot of praise for both Abrams's glistening visuals and his renewed commitment to the emotional politics which have thrilled so many life-long Star Trek fans.

Further the author reports about Abrams' future plans about the Star Trek film production and he was coy about the degree of his involvement, suggesting this may be his last outing as director.

When the actor Chris Pine was asked whether he would consider a return as Captain James T Kirk, he was eager to leave no room for doubt and said that he surely would play his role over and over again as he couldn’t wait to see what this story, characters and franchise held.

Well, I think, this film would be interesting for Star Trek fans though Abrams changed a little bit the style of the story and now everyone can enjoy the shimmering pop romanticism of new Star Trek

The title of the article is "Zach Braff harnesses the power of social media for new film". The article was published on the site euronews on 25 April, 2013. The article is about funding a new film of ‘Scrubs’ star Zach Braff. The suggested title of the film is “Wish I Was Here”.Zack Braff organized crowd funding and has already found almost 20,000 backers pledging financial support.

As the author reports Mr Braff is using the website Kickstarter to launch his independent venture. The site allows users to create a video about their project, accept financial donations and define a target amount. If pledges reach that amount in the one-month period, the project is funded and money is taken from the backers’ bank accounts. Depending on how much money you put in, there often some kind of creative reward.

These reeards are divided according to the summ a person donates. For example, a person who pays $10,000 becomes a cast member and gets the “star treatment”: hair, makeup, wardrobe, and a line specifically written for them. For $2,500 you can be an extra on the set for a day. A $10 contribution will guarantee you the production diary and a weekly circular, including a video message from Mr. Braff himself.

What should be mentioned that the goal of Mr. Braff’s fundraising was set at $2 million and before the end of the first day, he had already received pledges amounting to $1.5 million.

The reporter comes to the conclusion that Zack Braff's smart use of social media is probably the secret of his success; he makes his posts funny and personal and has more than a million followers on Twitter. Though some criticize Braff for being goofy, others may disapprove of his ungrammatical film title, but I think one thing he must surely be congratulated for is his clever use of social media to harness the support of his fans across the world.

According to the article, Gosling starred in the film with his real-life lover, Eva Mendes. Gosling himself plays the part of Luke, a grizzled motorbike stunt-man desperately trying to reconnect with a former lover and their son. His character decides to mix his day-job with a little violent banking-robbing on the side.

The actor laughs that there’s endless amounts of bullets flying around in the film and nobody gets hurt and everything’s fine and there’s no repercussions for anyone’s actions. There are only two shots which are fired and they resonate throughout the whole film.

Further the author reports that the main character, Luck, meets his match when he is put on a collision course with Avery Cross, an ambitious rookie police officer, played by Bradley Cooper. They find many in common and share determination to take care of their respective families.

As for me, I would like to watch this film because it should be interesting to watch ripple effects of crime over a 15 year period.

The title of the article is “A world of wonder”. The article was published on the site euronews on 2 April, 2013. The article is about WonderCon, a costume festival. It is an annual San Francisco based comic book, sci-fi and motion picture convention.

According to the reporter, fans of different movies, especially horrors and fantasy, are eager to visit this event. Among the most popular clips is a glimpse of “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones”, the first screen adaptation of a massively popular book series by author Cassandra Clare. It has been billed as the next “Twilight” but the movie stars are understandably keen to play down any comparisons.

In the article we see Actress Lily Collins’s opinion about these films. She thinks that they cannot be compared as they are entirely different and have totally different alternate universes.

Further the author reports about other film, “Evil Dead”. It is a 1981 low-budget horror movie that became a cult hit and launched director Sam Raimi’s career has been rebooted. Then the author gives the plot of the film and actress Jane Levy’s impressions about acting in it. We also get to know that “Evil Dead” is set for staggered worldwide release across cinemas this week.

According to the text, the next film, which was shown, is “Ghost hunters”. It is the latest scary movie from “Saw” and “Insidious” director James Wan aims for some real-life grounding. Director James Wan states that the film is basically a story based on Ed and Lorraine Warren and one supernatural case that they investigated.

Well, I’d like to visit WonderCon, though I don’t watch horror films, I’d just enjoy well-made costumes and friendly atmosphere. What about new horrors I don’t think that I will watch them as it is not my favourite genre at all.
